  We've been here twice and both times the service was slow. The girls are friendly enough but they only come once to give you water and your meal and never check on you again. I don't know about you, but we drink a lot of water. I typically drink at least 3 - 4 glasses with dinner. I ended up taking the ice out of my cup and drinking what melted during our dinner- no Bueno.
  
  And the food is "OK". Trust me, there are plenty of better Italiano eats out there. I'm pretty positive their mashed potatoes are powdered or instant which is sad because that means they cut corners. Mashed potatoes aren't hard and if you like them (which, who doesn't), they are usually the carb you look forward to with your steak dinner.
  
  My boyfriend said his meatloaf was good and portion was good. The baked scallop/captains dish I got was disappointing. Very salty and the bread crumbs (if you can call them that) seemed to be thrown together with little care.
  
  I looked around and wondered why people would eat here, mostly families, older couples, and a group of women that were clearly ordering cocktails. It seems like a local family restaurant that people go to because the next closest sit down place is on high st in Clinton and is kind of pricey/hoitey toitey, so I'm guessing people go here because they have no other choice unless they drive 20 minutes away to Hudson.
  
  I would like to see this place spend more time preparing their plates and stop using parsley or poorly chopped carrots as garnish. I would like to see them use real potatoes instead of instant. I would like to see them have better service and offer water more often and ask how our meal was.
  
  We will not be going here again. I'm giving this place 3 stars and not 2 because I do believe it is a family owned restaurant and I love to give to local businesses. I feel bad giving them a 2 star because of this.
  
  I would like to give it another chance but well see, three times a charm?
  
  Parkings great and locations perfect. I hope they get it together, these are (in my mind) simple things to fix.
